Jemma Last

I believe that an ADHD brain is a powerful asset and I want you to believe that too
About
For two decades, I lived and breathed the creative industries as a Director and Producer. Although I didn’t realise it at the time, I built a career for my (undiagnosed) ADHD brain that was fuelled by leading multiple, short-term, high-pressured projects. It was a thrilling, demanding, and incredibly rewarding journey that taught me the unique rhythms and challenges of bringing ambitious projects to life.
Over 20 years of freelancing in the arts I created tools and strategies to help me cope. But I also burnt out, like so many of us do, through pushing beyond my boundaries, without support or guidance,or understanding where my executive functioning skills were lacking.

Over my journey, I saw and worked with hugely talented neurodivergent individuals who often bring unparalleled innovation and energy. I also saw the areas where traditional structures, sometimes inadvertently, create hurdles for those with ADHD.

And also, closer to home: my niece is ADHD and my nephew Autistic, and then when my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD (combined) at 7, I finally started to notice similar traits in myself. Helping my colleagues, friends and family to understand their brains, as well as understanding my own has inspired me to become an ADHD coach.

My coaching is grounded in understanding, empathy, and practical strategies. I meet every client with kindness, joy and just a little bit of humour. Whether you're a parent seeking clarity, or a creative professional ready to harness your unique strengths, I'm here to guide you and help set you up for success.

TESTIMONIALS
"Jemma's calm and patient manner, coupled with an astute ability to explain how my work and life habits have been channeled through my ADHD, allowed me to make peace with the fact I am neurodivergent. Even in this short time I have come to judge myself less harshly and feel a new positivity about how I can work with, not against, my own brain. I feel optimistic that I can work and live more efficiently and happily. Plus we have been able to have a few laughs and heart-to-hearts on the way in our enjoyable and impactful sessions."
